Minecraft Moonwalk Bridging Tips

Here are my Top 5 tips for Moonwalk Bridging in Minecraft!

  1. When you place the blocks, strafe at the same time.
    eg. Hold S(Walk Backwards) and tap A(Strafe Left) at the same time as placing blocks.
  2. Learn timing.
    Try practicing the block placement timing by making a normal bridge, and then pretending to place the blocks that are already there.
  3. Try different clicking methods:
    eg. Drag Clicking, Double Clicking or Single Clicks
  4. Don’t butterfly click if you’re not timing the clicks, the chance you can place a block properly will only be around 5%.
  5. One of the best times to use Moonwalk bridging is when you’re either being chased or you don’t have time to aim for God Bridging.Also, I think that Moonwalk Bridging is easier than God Bridging. You don’t have to aim at the top of the block you’re starting from, and also you don’t have to reset your movement like in God bridging where you have to Jump, Strafe, Shift or stop moving for an instant and start bridging again.

My favourite Houses in Hypixel Housing!

A few days ago I found an amazing 2 player parkour house in hypixel housing. It’s quite a hard but really fun! Everyone is so kind and are always helping each other out. I recently learned that you can fish to get the in-game currency called “Gold”. I use my Gold to buy fishing rods and sell the fish I fish for 500 Gold each. The fishing rod is only 1000 Gold but you can fish a lot more than 2 fish. I think it’s quite a good way of earning gold but it’s not as good as completing the parkour.

When you complete the parkour you get 50,000 Gold and 1 Trophy. You can use Trophy’s to buy ranks. For example the Myth Rank lets you teleport anywhere and the Immortal Rank can let you fly. I currently have Legend Rank which costed around 125,000 Gold and 3 Trophies.

My 2nd favourite Hypixel House is Mining Simulator 3, it’s a house where you have to mine different blocks and level up. There’s also pvp(which is called Warzone in this house)  which I am not very good at keeping a streak.

I haven’t got a rebirth which I don’t know much about but I’ve heard you can rebirth once you get to rank 1 mil. I’m currently rank 500,000 which took around 2 hours of grinding but was worth it. I only have a standard pickaxe which was 1 mil Shards but I hope I can buy a better one once I reach Mining Lvl 6 + 50 mil Shards.

I met quite a few people in this house. I first met IGN: TheEighthArchon who is quite nice and gave me some diamond gear for battles in Warzone. I met another person called IGN: Royal_Bellz who was first using me for kills when I was trying to mine so I got a bit annoyed, but we made a deal where he grinds me for kills then he will let me mine with peace. After he killed me around 20 times he gave me a pet that gave me a 1.4 mil booster so I was very happy.

Minecraft Parkour

Recently I have been making parkour maps in Minecraft. I will link the file when I have finished a good map.

Right now my favourite Minecraft parkour jump is the “triple neo”. It’s a jump where you have to jump around 3 blocks. It’s quite hard but I’m getting okay at it. I can do it in around 10 tries so as a percentage it’s 10% chance usually when I try doing it.

Also I’ve been making a parkour course on Hypixel Housing. It’s quite hard because it’s version 1.8 blocks but still you can make a basic parkour course. I really like using ladders in 1.8 parkour because it makes the parkour more challenging.

I like Hypixel Housing parkour maps where the jump are easy to understand and are not confusing. eg. I don’t like carpeted slime blocks or hidden ladders and barrier blocks in super random places. I don’t like it when people don’t have check points but I don’t mind if the parkour course is short.

 

Minecraft SMPs

I’ve recently been playing Minecraft SMPs a lot more than before.

SMP stands for “Survival Multiplayer”. It’s a type of Minecraft Servers where it is based around playing Minecraft survival mode together.

There are many types of SMPs but the ones I play the most I own and run on Exaroton. I try to keep people from fighting but my friends just keep fighting so it’s very hard. So that’s why I decided to turn on KeepInventory so that after we die the person that killed us can’t take our stuff. But the problem with that is that if you die from a natural cause like falling off a cliff or fighting a monster then you keep your stuff which is half considered cheating in the Minecraft Survival Community.

The other setting I changed in game rules is MobGriefing. The reason is because a lot of the members of my servers don’t fill up the creeper holes and also don’t keep the landscape clean.

Some SMPs are public where anyone can join with the IP address and usually griefing is not allowed and you can only build on your plot of land. There are also annoying plug-ins that let you teleport to anyone from anywhere.

Even though there are these annoying restrictions there are some servers with no rules. For example the popular Minecraft Survival Server 2b2t has nearly no rules. You can Hack, there are no chat restrictions and you can kill anyone. The only rule on this server is that you can’t cause a lot of lag and crash the server.

One of the most famous Minecraft SMPs out there is HermitCraft. They mostly focused on building and redstone. They are currently on Season 9. The SMP has been going on for more than 10 years. Some of the people from the MindCrack SMP joined HermitCraft as well. On average HermitCraft is inviting only one member every couple of years. It is a private whitelisted server and it’s extremely rare to be invited to join it. The members of HermitCraft are arguably the best Minecraft players and are very committed and enjoy playing vanilla(No mods, original and plain) Minecraft a lot.

I think the most important thing about SMPs are to keep the SMP in good condition and not abandon it. You need to think about what kind of an SMP it is and what kind of people should be in it. For example if it is based around war and fighting, you shouldn’t invite people that want to peacefully build and play the game. And if the SMP is based around building and having fun then you shouldn’t invite people that want to have wars and destroy what you have built. The hardest thing is to choose who should be in it. If you have the wrong people then it will never work out. And if you don’t have enough people then it was stay dull, grim and lifeless.

Minecraft Mods

Have you ever heard about Minecraft Mods?

I’ve been using a lot of mods when I play Minecraft recently. Mod is short for “modification”, they are pieces of code you install using using software such as Forge or Fabric. The main difference between them is that Forge can handle heavy mods that are very big(usually over 500mb) and Fabric is lighter and is used for mods that don’t require much power. You use them to add or change something in Minecraft.

The mods I use the most are: Optifine, Iris/Oculus, Sodium/Rubidium.
These are all performance and UI based mods that make the game less laggier and easier to play.
The mods I use for fun are like the Mustard Virus Mod pack by Forge Labs, Arcticraft by Forge Labs, Parasites by Forge Labs and Medieval Minecraft by Forge Labs .

The Mustard Virus is a modpack where you have to survive a zombie apocalypse where there are over 200 zombies everywhere and they can see you from up to 2 miles.

Arcticraft is a mod pack where you are in the Canadian Arctic and you have to find water and food to survive. The main mod in this mod pack is “Tough As Nails” Where it adds temperature and thirst which makes Minecraft a lot more challenging and hard to play. I’ve played it a couple of times but in the end I either die of hypothermia or thirst.

The Parasites mod pack is one of the best because it infects animals, villagers and even monsters. It spreads rapidly through your world and the ground and becomes a mushy, gross green swamp if you do not maintain the ground. The scariest monster of the parasites is a weird flower-type creature that comes out of the ground and eats you. To survive this modpack I usually make a tower and dig deep underground for emergency escapes.

My favourite mod pack is Medieval Minecraft because it adds fun bosses and dungeons to the game. You will find watchtowers, villages and even castles throughout the world. The hardest thing about it is that you need really strong armour to go against the knights of the castles and villages. It also adds very dangerous animals like the Crocodile Snapping Turtle, the Crocodile which kills you in swamps using barrel rolls and these huge birds that have knife-like claws and shoot them at you. The funniest thing when playing it is that you sometimes find these tiny trader goblins that can give you really good tools if you give them diamonds. They also smelt iron for you so you don’t have to use a furnace.

The other kind of mods except for these is Shaders. Shaders adds shading to Minecraft so it looks extremely realistic. It adds depth and shadow to everything there is. The shaders I use for Minecraft are:
For SMPs: Silders Medium
For Hypixel mini-games and PVP based games: Silders Light
For the Replay Mod: Continuum Shaders

Minecraft Mob Mods

Recently I found a few ocean mods for Minecraft. My favourite one is called better animals plus and it basically just adds over 30 types of animals to the game. In the Ocean it adds Nautiluses, Horse shoe crabs, Crabs, Flying fish, Jelly fish, Octopuses, Walruses, Eel, Sharks, Barracudas, Giant squids, Piranhas and Whales.

They are still constantly adding new animals and sea creatures. It really makes the game much more fun. With all the animals you can make actual zoos and aquarium. Sadly none of these hostile mobs will be added to Minecraft.

We might get Crabs and whales but Mojang has said that they will never add hostile mobs if they aren’t fantasy. Even though we have giant spiders and hostile silverfish I guess the size and the unlikeliness of a silverfish attacking you makes the real world animals a fantasy creature.

I will probably make a video for this mod soon.

Technoblade passes away

On June 30th 2022 Technoblade(Alex) passed away because of cancer at age 23. He died from sarcoma which is a type of bone cancer.

He was the no.1 Minecraft PVPer and was very good at strategising his pvp fights. I haven’t watched a lot of his videos but he was in a lot of Minecraft YouTube videos I watch. He was very famous for his Hypixel SkyBlock Potato War.  Also in a Mr Beast video he won 100,000$ in a 1v1 with Dream. Probably my favourite Technoblade video is a video where he kept winning bedwars with his fist. He has won MCC 2 times and had the world record win streak for Hypixel Bedwars. He lost his win streak in March 2018 and the current record holder is Defone. His bedwars winsteak is 1818 currently in July 2022.

Everyone loved him because even when he was diagnosed with cancer he kept entertaining people and always made jokes even in the darkest moments.

 

 

My First Minecraft Parkour Map

I’ve made a Parkour Course in Minecraft. To use it you download it and copy/move it into the Minecraft “Saves” folder. Then, when you start Minecraft in Single Player you should see my map somewhere in the list.

The map was made in 1.16 but it should work on any version after 1.16.

Trying Minecraft Maps

Yesterday I tried out 10 Minecraft maps that were recommended by the magazine “Minecraft World”. A Minecraft map is the way you share Minecraft world data as a collection of files. Unfortunately only some of them worked. The ones that worked were: The tower of Pisa(not leaning),  World Trade Center(Mod needed for the full size) and The Petronas Towers(Perfect).

It was my first time to do Minecraft maps so my dad had to help me. It was so exiting when one of them actually worked!

Tower Of Pisa:

It wasn’t as tall as expected and doesn’t  look  amazing without the right shaders and texture pack. But still it was quite amazing and was nice to look at.

WTC(World Trade Center):

This was a memorial build for the 9/11 attack. It was incredibly tall but half of cut off because of the Minecraft hight limit you could see the whole size with a height limit mod. Inside had no light and was empty. There wasn’t a lift so you had to take the stairs which took a long time.

The Petronas Towers:

This is probably my favourite it was SO perfectly built. Most of it was office floors and maintenance but there were hotels and a restaurant too! The “Sky Bridge” was amazing and the first floor had a water fall. I think it would look amazing with any kind of shaders.

I will probably start making my own maps too. I already have a small parkour map so I will give the link in the next post(If possible).

I also might make some that I can sell via Patreon. I will be making adventure maps, parkour maps and secret base maps(Don’t worry most of them will be free).

I’m starting YouTube and Twitch again!

I haven’t been making videos or doing streams recently so this week I’m going to try and start YouTube and Twitch again. I will be streaming on weekends and making videos on weekdays.

I recently started playing Bedwars again. In a recent bedwar I learnt how to do a 3 block clutch. I want to learn to do extended block clutches as well. If you have any ideas or suggestions for Twitch, YouTube or BedWars please comment down below.
